SemiDrive teams up with INCHTEK for automotive information security products

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s auto-grade chip supplier SemiDrive announced on November 10 the strategic cooperation with local intelligent vehicle information security developer, INCHTEK, on intelligent connected vehicle solutions.

Relying on their respective technical advantages, product capabilities, and mass production experiences, the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of intelligent vehicle domain controller and intelligent vehicle information security, providing highly reliable automotive information security products and integrated onboard network solutions for users in the intelligent connected vehicle industry.

Building on INCHTEK’s next-generation intelligent vehicle 5G security network domain controller, L3000, and SemiDrive’s gateway chip, G9, the duo will come up with automotive security network domain controller products and information security technology solutions, including hardware platforms, software middleware, R&D tool chain, and VSOC cloud platforms, all of which are dedicated to high-level autonomous driving and intelligent connected vehicles. 

INCHTEK is one of the earliest players in China’s information security field for autonomous vehicles. It has developed hardware and software information security products that are production ready. The company came up with the first automotive central security network controller platform for autonomous vehicles in China. The platform is also the only onboard security gateway product that has been certified by vehicle regulations and EAL4+ certification in the field of intelligent vehicle information security.
