Black Sesame Technologies joins hands with ZTE for intelligent vehicle development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Autonomous driving computing processor developer Black Sesame Technologies announced the cooperation with communications solution provider ZTE in the field of intelligent driving.

The cooperation makes Black Sesame Technologies become ZTE's first autonomous driving chip partner. Per the agreement, based on their accumulated advantages in the fields of autonomous driving computing chips and vehicle operating systems, the duo will cooperate in product R&D, ecosystem collaboration, and project solutions. The two companies aim to jointly build a fundamental automotive hardware and software platform that meet market demands, provide solutions with local chip and software, and jointly promote the establishment of a local high-performance automotive electronics alliance. 

Currently, Black Sesame Technologies has established a comprehensive product portfolio that provides support for automakers in every step of product application, including its proprietary automoitve image processing ISP, auto-grade deep neural network accelerator NPU, Huashan series high performance autonomous driving computing chip, Shanhai artificial intelligence development platform, Hanhai autonomous driving middleware, auto-grade integrated perception algorithm, BEST Data closed-loop solution, and BEST Drive autonomous driving solution.

Earlier in August, Black Sesame Technologies closed its C+ funding round. Upon completion of the C+ round, the company has raised over $500 million in the C and C+ rounds combined.
