Cambricon Singo, CalmCar ally on advanced intelligent driving solution
Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s automotive chip supplier Cambricon Singo and intelligent driving system developer CalmCar on November 28 inked an agreement for the strategic cooperation in the intelligent cruise control (ICC) field.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Suzhou, CalmCar holds an intelligent driving product lineup ranging from high-speed piloting system, automatic parking system, intelligent cockpit system, driving data recording system, to self-driving bus system, accumulating massive experience in technology R&D and commercialization. The company has clients such as BYD, Dongfeng Motor, ZEEKR, SERES, Vinfast, ZF, and other automakers and auto parts suppliers.
On the other hand, Cambricon Singo is the autonomous driving-dedicated arm of Cambricon, a Chinese intelligent chip developer. With its extensive experience in high-computing-power AI chips, Singo is developing chips that combine high TOPS with high programming flexibility to cope with the surging data volume and continuously evolving algorithms in future autonomous driving systems.
Per the cooperation agreement, CalmCar and Cambricon Singo will take ICC as the gateway to jointly develop intelligent driving, intelligent parking, and next-generation mobility service solutions dedicated to high-speed and urban scenarios. The duo aims to build an industry-leading intelligent driving hardware and software platform, providing high-quality mass production products and services for global customers.
