JueFX Technology, Windrose Technology to develop autonomous electric heavy-duty trucks

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s autonomous driving solution developer JueFX Technology announced on November 29 the cooperation with local new energy heavy-duty truck startup Windrose Technology.

The cooperation specifies that JueFX Technology will provide Windrose Technology with solutions and services in the integrated computing, positioning, and automated parking aspects. The duo will develop market-leading intelligent driving technologies, products, and services for heavy-duty trucks.

This cooperation marks the first large-scale application of autonomous driving integrated computing capability in the domestic new energy heavy-duty truck market. The two companies will also jointly promote the mass delivery of pure electric intelligent heavy-duty trucks that feature forward R&D process and factory-installed autnomous driving system, as well as boost the applications of such trucks in 2024.

Windrose Technology is China's first new energy autonomous driving heavy-duty truck manfuacturer focusing on forward R&D. In November this year, the company obtained the largest-ever domestic order for new energy heavy-duty trucks along with a strategic investment of around 100 million yuan.  

Its heavy-duty trucks are newly designed in drive-by-wire planning, powertrain, vehicle appearance, and interior. They feature a fully redundant drive-by-wire electric chassis, a new electric powertrain, a new exterior, and an interior designed to meet L4 autonomous driving requirements.

The cooperation will allow JueFX Technology and Windrose Technology to give full play to their strong suits and combine their solid R&D capabilities to accelerate the implementation of L2-L4 autonomous driving capabilities on new energy heavy-duty trucks.
