The latest move marks the beginning of the first intelligent scenic area project of C-V2X autonomous driving in China, and the first ecological demonstration project of intelligent connected smart tourism in Southwest China.
Mogo Auto won the bid of Dali’s Erhai Lake autonomous driving ecological tourism demonstration project in November 2022. The first phase of the project features an investment of roughly 289 million yuan.
Per the plans, Mogo Auto will deploy for the first time in Dali L4 autonomous driving bus with factory-installed vehicle-road-cloud integrated system, namely, the MOGO BUS M1 and M2. Aside from the buses, Mogo Auto will also operate self-driving taxis, sanitation vehicles, patrol vehicles, and vending vehicles in the scenic area.
In Shunyi District, Beijing, Mogo Auto kicked off China’s first open 5G C-V2X commercial intelligent transportation project. In Hengyang, Hunan Province, the company built the first city-level autonomous driving commercial project in China, and became the country's first domestic autonomous driving enterprise to exclusively serve world-class comprehensive sports events.
With its vehicle-road-cloud integrated autonomous driving projects implemented in various places including Beijing, Hunan Province, Henan Province, Yunnan Province, Sichuan Province, Jiangsu Province, Hubei Province, etc., Mogo Auto has so far received orders valuing over 10 billion yuan in 2022.
