Leveraging CMST’s smart logistics service system and Trunk.Tech’s intelligent driving system, the duo will customize and operate smart trucks, building a new-generation autonomous driving freight service platform. At the same time, the two companies disclosed that over the next five years, they will continue to build and operate a fleet of 5,000 intelligent trucks, to provide clients with more efficient and economical intelligent transportation services.
At the signing ceremony, Trunk.Tech and CMST launched the industry's first intelligent bulk commodity logistics transportation project. The first batch of their intelligent trucks will set off from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, and travel to coal mine material transportation base in Xinjiang, and carry out regular inter-provincial intelligent transportation between Xinjiang and Gansu Province.
In the first stage of their cooperation, the two companies will deploy dozens of medium-sized intelligent trucks, breaking through the technological barrier of intelligent transportation and intelligent driving systems.
