Black Sesame Technologies to supply SANY Group with autonomosu driving chips

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s Black Sesame Technologies announced on December 29 the cooperation with SANY Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd. (SANY SPV) on account of its Huashan A1000 autonomous driving chips.

Per the cooperation, Black Sesame Technologies became the first Chinese supplier of high-performance autonomous driving chips to SANY SPV. SANY SPV’s commercial vehicles equipped with Black Sesame Technologies’ Huashan A1000 autonomous driving chip will be mass-produced in 2023.

Specifically, Black Sesame Technologies will provide a central domain controller solution for commercial vehicles using the Huashan A1000 chip platform as its core. The solution should meet the requirements of L2+ ADAS functions for commercial vehicles and special vehicles, and applies to all electric and oil-fueled commercial vehicles under SANY Group. 

The L2+ ADAS functions specified in the cooperation include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot warning, lane departure alerts, traffic sign recognition, driver monitoring, etc. 

Black Sesame Technologies’ Huashan A1000 chip is the first chip platform in China that conforms to vehicle regulations and has reached mass production status, supporting integrated drive/park domain controller. Currently, SANY Group is speeding up the deployment of electric products. The cooperation will help SANY Group accelerate its progress of electric and intelligent transition.
