Zongmu Tech to supply Chery’s new energy vehicles with ADAS products

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s autonomous driving solution provider ZongMu Technology ("Zongmu Tech") announced on January 3 that it has received several procurement orders for ADAS products from Chery New Energy Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. ("Chery New Energy").

According to the consensus reached by the two parties, Zongmu Tech will provide Chery New Energy with ADAS products, including smart cameras and millimeter-wave radar, and officially become a new member of the automaker’s supplier system.

Previously, Zongmu Tech's high-speed ADAS product, the lateral millimeter-wave radars, have been adopted on a large scale by many mainstream automakers and will be deployed onto the automakers’ next-generation vehicle platforms. Focusing on the high-speed ADAS, the cooperation with Chery EV involves a number of Chery’s new energy vehicle models.

In terms of perception data collection, Zongmu Tech’s current driving system has included lane information, vehicle data, signs, and pedestrian information in most cities. Built on the key traffic information and data obtained by the company’s intelligent parking system, Zongmu Tech’s driving system has realized horizontal, vertical, or coupled systematic functions under the aforesaid scenarios. In addition, the company is also collecting traffic information and road sign data overseas, and the data collection is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2023.
