SemiDrive teams up with KOTEI for China-made automotive domain control solutions

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 15, China’s SemiDrive reached a cooperation agreement with KOTEI, a Wuhan-based automotive software developer, to build high-quality China-made automobile control system.

Based on SemiDrive’s high-performance and highly reliable MCU E3, the duo will focus on developing solutions for powertrain control systems, high-performance electric drive systems, wire-control chassis (such as steering and braking), vehicle body control, and domain control systems.

With over two decades of experience in the automotive software industry, KOTEI provides comprehensive solutions for the revolution of software-defined vehicles, and promotes the digital transformation of the automotive industry. It is accelerating the development of its full-stack domain controllers in the new energy power, chassis, and vehicle body domains.

Through this partnership, KOTEI and SemiDrive plan to jointly launch a domestic powertrain domain solution with a highly competitive power system design while ensuring a stable domestic supply. The solution will be designed to solve real-time and functional safety problems of the power system, and will eventually cover an all-in-one design for the power system, deeply integrating high-voltage electrical accessories such as DCDC, OBC, and PDU.
