RoboSense launches first L4 auto solid-state LiDAR perception solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On February 28, RoboSense, Chinese intelligent LiDAR system developer, officially launched its first automotive-grade solid-state LiDAR perception fusion solution, the RS-Fusion-P6 (P6), which supports L4 autonomous driving.

The P6 is equipped with the company’s signature RS-LiDAR-M series (M series) automotive-grade solid-state LiDAR, and comes with proprietary point cloud perception software, RS-LiDAR-Perception, as well as a variety of integrated sensors and computing units. It is the fifth product in RoboSense's Smart Sensor System Solution series "P".

Supported by RoboSense's leading hardware and software technology, the P6 offers comprehensive environmental perception functions, including road sign detection, static and dynamic obstacle detection, drivable area detection, and multi-LiDAR perception fusion. It also provides one-stop service support for installation, deployment, calibration, and debugging, empowering autonomous driving projects to achieve point-to-point all-scenario environmental perception. RoboSense claims that the solution can help companies reduce costs and increase efficiency, thus promoting the rapid and large-scale implementation of autonomous driving projects.

The P6 combines automotive-grade LiDAR hardware based on two-dimensional MEMS chip scanning technology with point cloud perception software based on artificial intelligence technology, fully reflecting RoboSense's capabilities in the three core technology areas of chips, hardware, and software. 

The P6 comes with four M-series LiDARs as standard, with leading perception accuracy and a wide field of view, enabling intelligent perception in a 360° horizontal range with a perception radius of up to 200m. 

Supported by the M-series LiDAR's ultimate product design and top-level reliability, the P6 has achieved an upgrade in automotive-grade hardware performance based on its previous-generation product. Its excellent hardware performance will be a solid foundation for the P6 to become a popular solution in the L4 autonomous driving field.
