JIMU Intelligent, Sensrad team up on 4D mmWave radar-powered intelligent driving solutions

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JIMU Intelligent, a Chinese provider of intelligent driving solutions, on March 7 announced a strategic partnership with Sensrad, a subsidiary of Swedish tech company Qamcom Group.

The partnership will focus on developing multi-sensor fusion perception technology based on visual and millimeter-wave imaging radar for L2+ intelligent driving, C-V2X, and mechanical construction scenarios. 

As Sensrad's first strategic partner in China, JIMU Intelligent has more than ten years of experience in technology development and application in the intelligent driving field, with a complete stack of perception-fusion-planning-control technologies.

On the other hand, Sensrad's Hugin series 4D millimeter-wave imaging radar is based on the Phoenix chip set developed by Arbe. The Hugin can support up to 2,304 virtual channels and has advanced all-weather perception capabilities, making it the only ultra-high-resolution millimeter-wave imaging radar for autonomous driving on the market.

The application of ultra-high-resolution millimeter-wave imaging radar technology will help JIMU Intelligent create more powerful, safer, and more cost-effective intelligent driving solutions.
