SenseTime-backed investment arm partakes in Series A2 financing of EXCEEDDATA (SCT)

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Today, Zhixie Huitong, the automotive intelligence company also known as EXCEEDDATA (SCT), announced that it had closed its Series A2 financing round in December 2022, which was participated by SenseTime’s SenseCapital.

The company has recently completed the transactions of the financing round. According to EXCEEDDATA (SCT), the Series A2 round marked the company’s second round of financing completed in 2022. 

Upon completion of the current financing round, EXCEEDDATA and SenseTime will cooperate in a comprehensive and in-depth manner on intelligent automobile data.

Established in 2017, EXCEEDDATA (SCT) consists of a cross-territory team with talents from software, data, and automobile fields. Its team members boast experience of working in the core R&D and product teams from IBM, Teradata, and Bosch. The company is dedicated to building data-driven capabilities for automakers to create a vehicle-cloud computing solution.

The company’s signature EXCEEDDATA vehicle-cloud integrated data base can efficiently manage tens of thousands of high-concurrency, millisecond-level, and sequential data on the vehicle terminal. It also achieves structured and unstructured data fusion acquisition based on edge computing engines for corner case scenarios. Compared with traditional V2X technologies, the EXCEEDDATA base’s efficiency is improved by tens of times while its cost is reduced by over 85%.

Up to now, EXCEEDDATA’s products and solutions have been highly recognized by many automakers including FAW Group, SAIC Motor, SAIC Z-One, Human Horizons, and Dongfeng Motor’s VOYAH brand. Multiple production projects are also underway. In 2021, China's first mass-produced vehicle with the EXCEEDDATA solution was launched, namely, the HiPhiX luxury electric vehicle.
