NavInfo to provide GWM with urban autonomous driving map services

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s leading map data and location services provider, NavInfo, has recently received nominated orders from the Chongqing purchasing branch of Great Wall Motor (GWM).

Under the deal, the company will provide map data and engine services for some of the upcoming GWM vehicles, enabling urban-level autonomous driving functions.

In the past few years, NavInfo has been accumulating real-world knowledge and integrating AI algorithms with intelligent driving solutions, resulting in a unique development path in the field of intelligent vehicle technology.

In accordance to the development of the intelligent driving industry, NavInfo has launched a new generation of map engine, namely "Auto on Map". This product combines traditional navigation maps, assisted driving maps, high-precision maps, and parking lot maps into one. The integrated map features positioning capability with one engine, thereby realizing "autonomous driving on the map" and redefining the application of maps in intelligent driving systems.

Aside from GWM, NavInfo also recently announced that it has become a nominated supplier of the said map services to Dongfeng Motor Passenger Vehicle Company and BMW.
