Horizon Robotics, Continental AG build pilot & parking domain control 3.0 solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- During the Auto Shanghai 2023, Horizon Robotics and Continental AG reached a consensus at the management level to further deepen their cooperation. Their joint venture will leverage Horizon Robotics' next-generation high-performance chips to develop a domain control 3.0 solution that integrates pilot and parking functionalities.

The product supports Level 2+ NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) capabilities and incorporates advanced parking features, enabling end-to-end ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) functions and providing comprehensive solutions to international and domestic automakers. 

Looking back at the collaboration between Horizon Robotics and Continental AG, on September 29, 2021, they announced the establishment of a joint venture company, with operations located in the Shanghai’s Jiading District. On January 17, 2022, the joint venture, Continental Xin Zhijia (Shanghai) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was officially registered. 

In March 2023, the 8-megapixel intelligent front-view camera developed and produced by the joint venture was successfully deployed onto Changan Deepal’s SL03 sedan, becoming the industry's first mass-produced 8-megapixel intelligent front-view camera system.
