NavInfo-backed Telemap to provide GAC Toyota, FAW Toyota with navigation services

Beijing (Gasgoo)- NavInfo, the Chinese automotive intelligence solution provider, announced on May 16 its subsidiary, Telemap, has received procurement notices from GAC Toyota and FAW Toyota for its map and navigation products.

According to the announcement, Telemap will provide map, navigation, and customized development services for the automakers’ certain vehicle models to be produced and launched from 2024 onwards. The specific sales quantity and amount will depend on the sales volume of the relevant vehicle models with the required functionalities.

Established in 2012 as a Sino-Japanese joint venture, Telemap benefits from the combined expertise and resources of NavInfo, Toyota Motor Corporation, and TOYOTA Connected Corporation.
