Lenovo's high-performance computing solution helps Geely in new vehicle R&D
Beijing (Gasgoo)- Lenovo, the prominent Chinese computer manufacturer, recently revealed its achievement in the automotive sector by creating an intelligent simulation platform for Geely Auto.
This platform has successfully supported over 12,000 virtual crash tests for each vehicle.

Utilizing high-performance computing solutions, Lenovo, with the aid of the ThinkSystem servers and Neptune liquid cooling technology, assisted Geely in building this intelligent simulation platform.
The comprehensive high-performance computing platform offers intelligent support in various areas including process development, logistics simulation, digital dynamic analysis of new vehicle models, 3D simulation resource library, and lightweight display platforms. By providing customers with faster access to simulation data, this platform accelerates new vehicle development while ensuring data security and effectively reducing total cost of ownership (TCO).
Furthermore, Geely has also adopted Lenovo's xCloud hybrid cloud solution, which has placed rigorous demands on Lenovo's computing technology architecture and software ecosystem. In addition, Lenovo used its energy-efficient Neptune liquid cooling technology to create a green, high-performance computing platform.
