Autonomous driving firm Mogo Auto strikes new deal with Xi'an's Xixian New Area

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese autonomous driving technology developer Mogo Auto on May 27 signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xixian New Area, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province.

The partners will jointly construct and upgrade the intelligent connected infrastructure in the Qinhan New City of Xixian New Area, establishing an integrated "vehicle-to-infrastructure" system. The collaboration will facilitate the operation of autonomous sightseeing vehicles, shuttle buses, cleaning vehicles, patrol cars, and vending cars. The total investment for the project amounts to approximately 1.5 billion yuan.  

Xixian New Area, whose establishment was approved by China’s State Council in 2014, is the seventh national-level new development area. Qinhan New City, the core area of Xixian New Area, is being developed into a globally influential hub showcasing the historical and cultural heritage of the Qin and Han dynasties.

Mogo Auto is a domestic provider of full-stack autonomous driving technologies and operational services. It has independently developed a "vehicle-to-infrastructure" autonomous driving system. The company holds L4 autonomous driving full-stack technology, as well as self-developed core hardware and software. Its standardized product package includes AI digital road base stations, autonomous driving vehicles, and intelligent traffic AI cloud platform, enabling rapid large-scale deployment on urban roads and highways. 

To date, Mogo Auto's "vehicle-to-infrastructure" technology and standardized products have been successfully implemented in multiple cities and scenarios, covering open urban roads, highways, industrial parks, scenic spots, and airports. The company’s service has been deployed to 18 municipalities and provinces, including Beijing, Hunan, Yunnan, Shandong, Hubei, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Guizhou, etc., with signed contract value totaling over 12.6 billion yuan.
