AVATR to start ADS advanced driving system subscription on June 30

Beijing (Gasgoo)- AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly owned by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, announced today that its advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) premium package would be available for subscription to all users starting from June 30.

This package includes city navigation and control assistance (City NCA) and automated valet parking (AVP), providing a complete closed-loop smart driving experience for highway, urban, and parking scenarios. AVATR will offer three subscription options to cater to individual user preferences, including a monthly subscription for 640 yuan, an annual subscription for 6,400 yuan, and a lifetime subscription for 32,000 yuan.

AVP, powered by the fusion perception capabilities of 34 sensors, a high-performance computing platform, and advanced AI algorithms, offers cutting-edge features such as personalized parking space selection, optimal route planning, human-like cruising, and roaming vehicle selection.

Unlike other brands that support only single-space parking with rigidly memorized routes, AVATR's AVP function supports multi-garage paths and multi-parking space management. It employs real-time complex parking lot modeling algorithms and parking route generation algorithms to seamlessly connect cruising and parking, ensuring a smooth and efficient parking process.

On the other hand, AVATR's City NCA allows users to simply input the destination on the central control screen, to navigate through busy city streets, effortlessly executing advanced driving assistance functions such as unprotected intersection crossing, stop-and-go in congested areas, close-range merging, and proactive lane changing.

From the day of the subscription launch, AVATR users will be able to enjoy the City NCA functionality in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou, with Chongqing joining as one of the first cities in the near future. 

Notably, in the third quarter of this year, the AVATR 11 will be upgraded to the Huawei ADS 2.0 system across its entire lineup. City NCA will be initially available in 15 cities and is set to expand to 45 cities by the fourth quarter of this year.

As of now, AVATR's intelligent driving functions have accumulated over 3.13 million kilometers of using distance, with the APA function being used for over 710,000 times.
