Autonomous vehicle developer CAS-Juche closes Series A round

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Hefei-based autonomous vehicle technology company, Hefei CAS-Juche Technology Co., Ltd. (CAS-Juche), recently announced the completion of its Series A funding round, which raised for the company tens of millions of yuan.

The funding was exclusively provided by an equity fund backed by Guoyuan Securities. Proceeds from this round will be utilized for the construction of the company's unmanned vehicle production base, expansion of the technology and sales teams, and further the R&D process of unmanned driving vehicles and systems for military and civilian applications.

Established under the auspices of Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation, which is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS-Juche is a leading supplier of autonomous driving technology, components, and vehicles. The company specializes in providing complete vehicle solutions for specific applications such as autonomous shuttle buses, unmanned cleaning vehicles, unmanned logistics vehicles, and unmanned target vehicles. 

Additionally, the company offers various autonomous vehicle components including remote control chassis, central controllers, base controllers, and intelligent sensors. CAS-Juche also provides software and hardware solutions for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, military vehicles, and specialized operational vehicles.

With a core technology team consisting of members from renowned institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Science and Technology of China, CAS-Juche has accumulated extensive expertise in the field of autonomous driving technology. Leveraging their self-developed autonomous driving software and controllers, the team has pioneered the mass production and deployment of low-cost autonomous vehicles within the industry.
