Joyson Electronics’ NESINEXT to introduce Elektrobit’s software, engineering services

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Elektrobit, a renowned global provider of embedded and connected software products, and NESINEXT, a subsidiary of Joyson Electronics, recently announced a collaboration under which the latter will introduce the former’s software and engineering services to automotive manufacturers and suppliers in China, according to a post on Elektrobit’s WeChat account.

Leveraging Elektrobit's cutting-edge and production-validated software and NESINEXT's extensive experience in basic software development, this partnership aims to assist clients in developing next-generation vehicle architectures based on the AUTOSAR Classic and AUTOSAR Adaptive standards.

The future of automobiles will be software-defined, and forward-thinking automotive manufacturers are investing in developing partnerships and technologies to support the development of complex software systems necessary for the next generation of vehicles, said Elektrobit. China, as a rapidly developing market, plays a significant role in this transformation. According to industry research, software-driven transformations are projected to more than triple automotive manufacturers' software revenue in the coming years, with an expected annual growth rate of 22% ($640 billion) by 2031.

The collaboration with NESINEXT signifies Elektrobit's continued expansion in the Chinese market. Elektrobit's EB tresos and EB corbos products and solutions help automotive manufacturers and suppliers accelerate the development of complex software architectures, specifically their automotive operating systems (OS). Elektrobit said its software offers scalability, flexibility, and security, meeting the highest levels of functional safety and information security standards. The company's products support interconnectivity and real-time updates, providing users with a comprehensive software experience throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.
