WeRide deployed a total of six autonomous buses (Robobus) and two autonomous street sweepers (Robosweeper) in Dalian. These vehicles will gradually operate on four autonomous bus demonstration routes and one sweeping route, offering Dalian residents a greener and more comfortable urban transportation alternative while significantly improving the efficiency and safety of city cleaning operations.
Citizens can access information about the bus routes, operating hours, and stops through the "AI Hi Bus" WeChat mini-program. After selecting the desired route, passengers can make a reservation by entering their starting point, destination, and the number of passengers. Upon successful booking, passengers can proceed to the designated platform and board the bus by scanning a QR code.

To ensure a safe and reliable riding experience, the WeRide Robobus and Robosweeper are equipped with multi-module and multi-redundant sensor kits, including LiDAR, high-definition cameras, and millimeter-wave radars. These sensors, combined with proprietary algorithms, enable 360-degree perception capabilities without blind spots.
