NWS invests in SENIOR, supporting SENIOR in overseas business expansion

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese commercial vehicle autonomous driving solution provider, SENIOR, recently announced a strategic partnership with NWS Holdings Limited (NWS), a prominent Hong Kong-based conglomerate. This collaboration aims to provide essential support for SENIOR's logistics expansion and international business growth.

Beyond financial backing, both parties expressed their expectations for cooperative ventures in various business scenarios. The alliance will further strengthen SENIOR's advancements in unmanned driving for logistics transport, encompassing closed and semi-open scenarios such as ports (sea, river, and rail terminals), logistics parks, bulk cargo distribution centers, and inter-terminal short-haul routes.

SENIOR has already made significant strides in product development, becoming the world's only company capable of large-scale production for mixed-use unmanned vehicles at ports, said the company. Having successfully completed the technology demonstration and market validation phases, SENIOR is poised to enter the phase of large-scale product replication.

On the commercial front, SENIOR is rapidly gaining momentum. In early July, the company delivered the first batch of 122 mass-produced intelligent heavy-duty trucks, resulting in a fleet of over 200 unmanned transport vehicles. Furthermore, SENIOR disclosed its collaboration with NWS would explore international business opportunities. Leveraging NWS's background and resource advantages in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia, the partnership aims to expedite SENIOR's internationalization strategy.

Currently, SENIOR has already achieved commercial deployments in seven ports, three bulk cargo distribution centers, two logistics parks, and several inter-terminal short-haul routes, forging robust partnerships with over 100 upstream and downstream clients.
