Autonomous driving tech firm Hyperview closes B+ funding round

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 13, Chinese autonomous driving solution provider, Hyperview, announced the completion of its B+ financing round, which raised for the company over one hundred million yuan.

Investors of this round include Hefei Industry Investment Group, Zhongan Capital, and Dianshi Capital, etc. Hyperview’s existing shareholder, Properity7 Ventures, also increased its investment in the company during the B+ round. 

In May this year, Hyperview disclosed its Series B financing round, which is worth nearly 500 million yuan. The recent B+ round signifies the industry’s recognition and support towards Hyperview’s technology strength and mass production future. Up to now, the company has bagged more than 600 million yuan in its entire Series B round.

According to Hyperview, proceeds from the latest funding round will be put to boost the R&D of its next-generation ADAS system and advanced autonomous driving solutions, expand its talent pool, as well as facilitate pre-research of future autonomous driving technologies, laying a solid foundation for the company’s mass production and large-scale deployment scheme. 

Currently, Hyperview is actively developing high-level intelligent driving solutions while diving deeply into the mass production of intelligent driving systems. 

Since its establishment, Hyperview has developed leading intelligent camera and domain controller solutions based on Horizon Robotics’ Journey series chips. The solutions have gone into mass production stage, and are widely approved by customers, said Hyperview.

Currently, Hyperview’s products have realized mass production and deployment onto 30 vehicle models from Li Auto, SAIC Motor, Great Wall Motor, Chery, JAC Group, BYD, Hozon Auto, etc. The company has also established cooperation projects with leading Tier1 suppliers in a bid to expand its market reach overseas.
