Horizon Robotics partners with STRADVISION for ADAS solution development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automotive computing solution provider, Horizon Robotics, recently entered into a strategic partnership with STRADVISION, a leading deep learning visual perception technology company.

This collaboration aims to offer cost-effective intelligent driving solutions to tier-1 suppliers and automakers by harnessing STRADVISION's versatile perception technology and Horizon's efficient Journey series computing solutions.

STRADVISION is committed to accelerating the development of software-defined vehicles by providing affordable and high-value pilot and parking perception solutions, enabling the rapid mass production of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Since 2019, STRADVISION has facilitated the mass production of 13 vehicle models in various countries across Europe, North America, and Asia, with over 1.2 million vehicles equipped with its perception solutions. The volume of the vehicles installed with these solutions for the entire year of 2023 is expected to surpass one million units.

STRADVISION's perception product, SVNet, has been put into mass production in Europe for several years and fully complies with the requirements of European Union regulations such as GSR2 and Euro-NCAP 2025. Moreover, STRADVISION adheres to the GDPR regulations for end-to-end development processes. In the first half of this year, SVNet successfully adapted and optimized its performance on Horizon Robotics' Journey 3 chip, with both companies planning to extend their collaboration to future Journey computing solutions.

Horizon Robotics, a leading provider of high-performance intelligent driving computing solutions, recently announced at the IAA Mobility that the cumulative shipments of its Journey series chips have reached nearly 4 million units, with over 25 partner companies. This strategic partnership between Horizon Robotics and STRADVISION signifies their joint commitment to delivering efficient and cost-effective ADAS solutions, tailored to meet global regulatory requirements across multiple countries and regions.
