Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 10, Robosense, the leading Chinese LiDAR maker, announced that in August this year, the company hit a new record by delivering over 20,000 automotive LiDAR units in a single month, surpassing its previous achievement of nearly 10,000 units in June.

This astonishing growth within just two months not only doubled the company’s monthly sales but also exceeded half of RoboSense’s total annual sales from the previous year.
In recent years, Robosense has formed partnerships with numerous automakers and Tier1 suppliers. In March this year, the company collaborated with SAIC Motor’s Rising Auto brand, and their cooperative model, the F7, has been officially launched and delivered. The cooperation marked a significant step toward large-scale production.
Additionally, Robosense has secured collaborations with other industry giants. Its cooperative model with SERES is scheduled to be mass produced and hit the market this year. Moreover, RoboSense further established itself as the first Chinese LiDAR tech company integrated into Toyota Motor's supply chain.
Robosense revealed that it now has partnerships with 21 automakers and Tier 1 suppliers, along with 58 production vehicle models equipped with its LiDAR technology as of June. As of the end of August, the company has contributed to the mass production of 14 car models, with expectations to continue breaking delivery records as more models enter the mass production and delivery phases.
