Black Sesame Technologies, Lanyou Technology jointly launch YDU2.0 Pro domain controller

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Black Sesame Technologies, the Chinese automotive chip supplier, and Lanyou Intelligent Connection Technology, a wholly-owned subsiairy of Shenzhen Lanyou Technology Co., Ltd., recently joined forces to launch the first NOA/HPA advanced integrated pilot & parking system based on the A1000 chip – the YDU2.0 Pro advanced integrated pilot & parking system domain controller.

This collaboration builds upon a strategic partnership established between Black Sesame Technologies and Lanyou Intelligent Connection in 2021. Their extensive cooperation in the fields of intelligent driving and C-V2X has resulted in the YDU2.0 Pro, which is set to enter mass production within the next three years.

As the smart driving industry rapidly evolves, the market expects high-quality, high-performance smart driving products that strike the right balance between performance and cost. The YDU2.0 Pro domain controller, using a single A1000 SoC chip from Black Sesame and supporting 11V5R12U sensors, integrates high-performance, high-precision inertial positioning, high-precision mapping reverse positioning algorithms, and subsystems.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, Lanyou Intelligent Connection launched an advanced integrated pilot & parking solution based on the A1000 chip, featuring single-lane cruising, lane-changing, and memory parking functions. The upgraded YDU2.0 Pro now introduces single-lane intelligent cruising, enhancing the system's robustness, adaptability to specific driving scenarios in China, and overall safety. It also boasts an upgraded version of NOA (Navigated On Autopilot) for assisted navigation and HPA (Home Parking Assist) for memory parking.

The NOA system allows vehicles to autonomously navigate along designated routes on highways and city expressways, relying on a visual DMS (Driver Monitor System) and hands-free detection system to ensure safe driving, including automatic lane changes, AEB emergency braking, and emergency lane stopping in response to special danger scenarios.

The upgraded HPA memory parking system not only retains features like multi-route memory parking, automatic tracing parking, cross-floor parking, and obstacle avoidance but also offers enhanced vehicle perception and positioning systems. It can automatically center the vehicle based on lane markings or road edges, navigate around obstacles, and recognize road signs and parking space numbers, offering an advanced and comprehensive parking solution.
