VOYAH plans to equip more models with Baidu Apollo’s intelligent driving solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- At the recent Baidu World 2023 conference, VOYAH, the high-end new energy vehicle brand under Dongfeng Motor, showcased the all-new VOYAH FREE, which is equipped with Baidu Apollo’s smart driving system.

VOYAH’s CEO, Lu Fang, expressed at the event that this collaboration with Baidu would extend to more VOYAH models, enriching them with Baidu Apollo's cutting-edge intelligent driving capabilities for a broader user experience.

The all-new VOYAH FREE, which hit the market in August this year, is the first vehicle to be equipped with the Baidu Apollo advanced intelligent driving system. It offers features like Navigation on Autopilot (NOA), human-vehicle collaboration mapping, full-speed domain intelligent cruise control, automatic lane changes, and the world's first intelligent service area entry and exit assist functions. It also supports various parking modes, including efficient automated parking, remote control parking, memory parking, and remote summoning, making driving effortless for users, whether they are experienced or new to driving.

Since the new VOYAH FREE kicked off delivery a little over a month ago, as of October 16, it achieved an impressive 83.74% activation rate for its intelligent parking and driving features. Moreover, 99.06% of vehicles are utilizing the vehicles’ intelligent driving capabilities, and they have collectively covered 330,000 kilometers of highway NOA-enabled driving distance with an average human takeover rate of just 2.02 times per thousand kilometers.

In the next phase, VOYAH plans to continue its extensive collaboration with Baidu Apollo, aiming to enhance its vehicles’ intelligent driving features, data operations, and other aspects.
