ECARX’s Tianqiong Pro intelligent driving computing platform goes into mass production

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Geely-backed smart mobility technology company ECARX announced the commencement of mass production and deliveries for its first-ever intelligent driving computing platform, the ECARX Tianqiong Pro (name in Chinese pinyin).

In response to the diverse demands of automakers and mainstream vehicle models for intelligent driving capabilities, ECARX developed a series of intelligent driving solutions known as the ECARX Tianqiong and the ECARX Tianqiong Pro intelligent driving computing platforms, both equipped with integrated capabilities for pilot and parking scenarios. These platforms support the development of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, including Navigation on Autopilot (NOA), covering a wide range of driving and parking situations.

The ECARX Tianqiong platform is designed for L2+ intelligent driving scenarios, featuring an automotive-grade intelligent driving System on Chip (SoC) from Black Sesame Technologies, the A1000, capable of a peak computing power of up to 58 TOPS in INT8 format. It supports a sensor configuration of 5 radars and 6 cameras, enabling more than 20 ADAS functions, including highway NOA, Automatic Parking Assistance (APA), and Remote Parking Assistance (RPA).

On the other hand, the ECARX Tianqiong Pro platform, on the other hand, integrates two A1000 SoCs, providing a comprehensive computing power of up to 116 TOPS (INT8). It is designed for mainstream vehicle models, focusing on high-level integrated driving and parking capabilities. This platform supports advanced BEV perception algorithms and a sensor configuration of 10 cameras and 5 radars. Future upgrades will enable higher-dimensional perception fusion, supporting advanced ADAS features such as urban NOA and Home-zone Parking Assist (HPA).
