Visinex Technology allies with ETAS for AUTOSAR ecosystem development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 12, 2023, Visinex Technology and ETAS signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai, aiming to jointly cultivate a new AUTOSAR ecosystem, further propelling AUTOSAR’s development and innovation in the intelligent driving domain.

ETAS, a global leader in embedded software development, automotive cybersecurity solutions, and services, was established in 1994 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bosch. The company offers a comprehensive set of tools and solutions in the AUTOSAR domain.

Riding on the foundation in smart vision, Visinex has expanded into the realm of intelligent driving, crafting accessible, user-friendly, and durable intelligent driving chip platform. The company has swiftly obtained the ISO26262 ASIL-D certification. Within a year, Visinex has developed China's first integrated single-chip intelligent driving chip for pilot and parking capabilities, set for an imminent release, with a complete solution slated for the first half of 2024.

This collaboration aims to seamlessly adapt Visinex's MCAL with ETAS's OS and related production tools, adhering to Bosch's highest technical standards, targeting ASIL-D functional safety level. Following OS adaptation, the partnership will develop a complete AUTOSAR CP Demo based on Visinex's hardware single board, facilitating smooth transitions for customers to Visinex's chip platform and ETAS's AUTOSAR CP software platform and middleware.
