Polestar Technology settles China headquarters project in Nanjing city

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 3, Xingji Meizu Group, a cross-sector platform for comprehensive smart terminal technologies, formally inked an agreement with Nanjing’s Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone to establish Polestar Technology's China headquarters in the region.

This initiative will integrate R&D, operations, procurement, sales, and delivery centers within the Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone of Nanjing city.

Polestar Technology is a joint venture between Xingji Meizu Group and electric vehicle maker Polestar. Established in 2017, Polestar Automotive Holding UK PLC, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, stands as a global high-performance electric vehicle brand, formed through collaboration between Volvo Car Group and Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, with two R&D centers and three production bases worldwide.

Xingji Meizu Group, a fusion platform in smart terminal technologies, ventures into cutting-edge tech development encompassing electric vehicles, smartphones, XR technology, proprietary operating systems, wearable tech, smart homes, and lifestyle products. This collaboration seeks to deeply integrate and synergize consumer electronics and automotive industries, constructing a global smart mobility tech ecosystem.

The project at hand involves Polestar Technology's China headquarters, integrating vehicle sales, operational management, intelligent connected vehicle systems development, Polestar-branded smartphones, and AR smart glasses, constituting a practical step toward advancing intelligent connected vehicles and new energy automotive industries.
