Zinger nabs tens of millions of yuan in Series A+ funding for AR-HUD business expansion

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s AR-HUD solution developer Shenzhen Qianhai Zinger Technology Co., Ltd. ("Zinger") has recently concluded Series A+ funding round, exclusively backed by Qingsong Fund, which raised for the company tens of millions of yuan.

The funds will be allocated towards intensifying the R&D efforts in new technologies, expanding Zinger’s intelligent factory capabilities, and accelerating product deliveries. This strategic investment aims to significantly enhance Zinger's competitiveness and market share in the AR-HUD market.

This marks Zinger's second funding round in the past six months. In September 2023, the company secured tens of millions of yuan in a Series A funding.

Pioneering AR-HUD solutions in China, Zinger has successfully provided AR-HUD technology to several automakers. In December 2022, Zinger exclusively equipped VOYAH’s Zhuiguang sedan with AR-HUD sets, contributing to standardizing the technology across the entire vehicle lineup.

In 2023, Zinger's AR-HUD products gained further recognition, with project partnerships announced in June and September. The company secured an AR-HUD project with a prominent auto startup, with anticipated mass production scheduled for the latter half of 2024. Additionally, Zinger received a procurement order from a domestic new energy vehicle company, targeting overseas export models with production slated for the second half of 2024.

In tandem with the expanding AR-HUD projects, Zinger is actively advancing its production capacity. The company is undergoing the second-phase expansion of its intelligent factory, planning to construct two fully automated AR-HUD production lines with an annual capacity of 200,000 units. The expansion project commenced production by the end of 2023.

Beyond AR-HUD, Zinger is making strides in promoting the application of aerial imaging technology in the automotive industry. In late November 2023, the company successfully achieved the mass production integration of aerial imaging technology into a luxury new energy vehicle brand.
