SemiDrive sails through TÜV Rheinland’s ASPICE CL2 evaluation

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In February 2024, Chinese automotive chip supplier SemiDrive received the ASPICE CL2 evaluation report from TÜV Rheinland, a renowned international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization based in Germany.

This recognition signifies that SemiDrive's software development process for its automotive-grade chip products and solutions has reached international standards, meeting the stringent quality and development capability requirements of global major automotive manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers.

Attaining the ASPICE CL2 evaluation demonstrates that SemiDrive not only excels in product development but also possesses the capability to meticulously plan projects, effectively implement project monitoring and management, and deliver high-quality products on schedule.

Currently, SemiDrive's intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, central gateway, and high-performance MCU products have already entered mass production, with a total shipment volume exceeding 3 million units so far. Its clientele includes over 90% of China's domestic automakers and some international mainstream automotive enterprises, spanning nearly 40 mainstream vehicle models. 

With the ASPICE CL2 certification, SemiDrive has solidified its leading software R&D and management capabilities, further refining its software development tool system, and extending it to a wide range of product projects. This achievement sets the stage for deeper technical and product collaboration with global clients for SemiDrive.
