The next-generation L4 autonomous driving cars from Hyper will be powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Thor chips, boasting an industry-leading 2,000 TOPS of computing power, with mass production scheduled to commence in 2025.
NVIDIA DRIVE Thor seamlessly integrates various intelligent functions into a unified AI platform, unlocking features such as autonomous driving, automated parking, advanced driver and occupant monitoring, and AI cockpit experiences. Hyper will incorporate NVIDIA DRIVE Thor into its central in-car computing platform for its smart electric vehicle models, significantly enhancing performance compared to the current NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chip, thereby boosting safety and intelligent driving capabilities.
Hyper’s self-developed digital chassis, with its electronic and electrical architecture comprising central computing platforms and domain controllers, supported by NVIDIA DRIVE Orin SoC, enables industry-leading intelligent driving systems.
Currently, Hyper's flagship models, the Hyper GT and HT, equipped with three LiDAR sensors and NVIDIA DRIVE Orin, have achieved L2+ intelligent assisted driving functions on expressways and in some urban areas.
Moreover, Hyper has also obtained the first batch of L3 autonomous driving road test licenses in China for automakers, conducting real-road tests, and launching mass-produced models with L3 hardware configurations, such as the Hyper GT Advanced Intelligent Driving 3L Edition.
