JAC Group, Huawei Device to co-boost HarmonyOS ecosystem advancement

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 26, Chinese automaker JAC Group and Huawei Device Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of an intelligent information service platform.

The partnership will be based on Huawei’s HarmonyOS, using OpenHarmony as the foundation. Together, they will define scenarios and design experiences, initiate native application development on HarmonyOS, and provide users with comprehensive information experience upgrades across various devices. The aim is to deliver smarter mobility solutions and create an industry-leading platform for information services that encompasses diverse lifestyles, devices, and scenarios.

In December 2023, JAC Group and Huawei officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Leveraging their respective strengths, the two companies will collaborate extensively in product development, manufacturing, sales, and service, focusing on creating luxury intelligent connected electric vehicles using Huawei's smart automotive solutions. 

This MoU further deepens the partnership between JAC Group and Huawei, enhancing in-vehicle system security and user experience. It enables cross-device connectivity and provides personalized and diverse travel experiences, enriching the lives of users through their vehicle infotainment systems.
