Chuhang Technology joins hands with INSKY in low-altitude economy field

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 14, Chuhang Technology, a developer of millimeter wave radar, announced a comprehensive strategic partnership with Shanghai-based avionics and flight control company INSKY. This collaboration aims to integrate Chuhang's expertise in 4D millimeter wave radar technology with INSKY's experience in autonomous flight for aerial vehicles, paving the way for new models and business opportunities in the low-altitude economy.

The duo will focus on multiple application scenarios, including low-altitude drones, urban air mobility (UAM), and logistics drones. By combining 4D millimeter wave radar technology with autonomous aerial vehicles, the two companies aim to develop safer, more efficient, and intelligent low-altitude solutions.

Chuhang Technology is renowned for its high-precision, reliable millimeter wave radar sensors, data processing algorithms, and integrated solutions, which are widely used in autonomous driving, smart city solutions, and low-altitude aircrafts. INSKY, with years of experience in avionics and autonomous flight, has extensive technical expertise in the UAM and vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) sectors. This partnership marks Chuhang's formal entry into the low-altitude economy.

INSKY has developed an autonomous flight system for VTOLs that meets stringent aviation safety standards, including DO-178/254/331 and ARP-4754/4761. The system features a redundant architecture and intelligent fault diagnosis to ensure reliable operation, fulfilling the requirements for intelligent sensing, automatic flight, and obstacle avoidance in various unmanned aerial vehicles.

Chuhang Technology’s 4D millimeter wave radar, specifically designed for low-altitude applications, will enhance INSKY’s autonomous flight systems by providing precise environmental sensing and real-time analysis in complex low-altitude environments. Additionally, Chuhang will offer customized, intelligent low-altitude sensing solutions, leveraging big data and AI to meet the diverse needs of different scenarios.
