Gasgoo.com (Shanghai July 20) - The Dongfeng Yueda Kia K2 made its official premier in Sichuan's capital city of Chengdu, auto.sohu.com reported today. The sedan will be available in seven models available with the choice of two engine configurations, 1.4 L and 1.6 L. The K2 is anticipated to be priced to compete with the Verna edition of Hyundai's Accent at around 70,000 yuan ($10,833).

The Peter Schreyer-designed K2 borrows its looks from the Kia Optima. The large headlights mimic the Kia Forte's, while the slim design takes its cues from the Optima. The interior of the car is spacious and modern, with the four-spoke steering wheel also coming from the Optima.

In addition to a standard entry-level version, the K2 will come in a luxury version with a motorized sunroof, leather seating and volume controls on the steering wheel.
