Lynk & Co undergoes restructuring with ZEEKER joining as new shareholder

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai October 19) - As a part of Sergio Marchionne's restructuring of Fiat and Chrysler, current Sales President of Chrysler China Zheng Jie will be promoted to head of Chrysler and Lancia's operations in Asia, the Beijing Times reported today. Ms. Zheng will be responsible for both brands, implying that Chrysler and Lancia will be developing in a common direction.

Chrysler is still a relatively new brand in the Chinese market, which plays an important part in Marchionne's global strategy. Directing positions have been appointed for the Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America regions. Mike Manley, head of the Jeep brand's Asian operations, will be undertaking responsibilities for the Asian region.

Meanwhile, Guangqi Fiat's CEO Zheng Xiancong will be put in charge of purchasing operations for Chrysler and Lancia.
