The forthcoming model is a new member under SGMW's global small electric vehicle (GSEV) platform, which supports the new Baojun E100, E200, E300, E300 PLUS and Wuling Hongguang MINIEV through significant economies of scale and flexibility. According to SGMW’s description, “Nano” stands for “nanometer”, the unit used to measure extremely tiny things. Naming the vehicle “NanoEV” is to demonstrate the position as a two-seat mini-sized car, and cater to the simple and free social practices and lifestyles today's young consumers prefer.
