Beijing (Gasgoo)- Monthly sales of Dongfeng Peugeot Citroën Automobile Company Ltd. (DPCA), the joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Groupe PSA, again surpasses 10,000 vehicles.

Today, DPCA reported a cumulative sales volume of 71,963 vehicles during the first ten months of this year, soaring 88% from a year ago.
In October, the joint venture sold 10,083 vehicles, staying put compared to September’s 10,089 vehicles. Notably, September was the first month for the company to sell over 10,000 vehicles in the past 21 months, and the company has kept its record height of September.
Additionally, at the recent Wuhan Motor Show 2021, DPCA brought its entire “French” lineup on display.
Dongfeng Citroën unveiled its limited edition of the C5 AIRCROSS SUV at the show. The company said, the SUV will be ready for sale in November, with a limited supply of 500 vehicles.
For the six-day duration of the show, the company received 1,217 orders in total, refreshing its 2021 auto show sales record.
Early on, in September, the company's Citroën Versailles C5 X hit the market.As a B-class car starting at RMB143,700 ($22,280), the Versailles C5 X is manufactured at DPCA's Chengdu plant and sold worldwide. The first batch of the Versailles C5 Xs exporting to Europe has departed from the Chengdu factory on September 6.
