The Wuzhen Apollo Park marked the autonomous driving unit’s fourth urban intelligent connected demonstration base in the country, after Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai.
The Park is home to an R&D center for autonomous driving and vehicle-road coordination, a remote big-data cloud control center, an operation command center, a debugging and calibration center, an R&D testing center, a 5G parallel driving cockpit control system, an intelligent connected engineering technology center, a multi-source sensor integration calibration center, an exhibition center, and an incubator for companies within the ecosystem.
The Park will complete Baidu Apollo’s autonomous driving and V2X industrial chain in Wuzhen and consolidate local “car-road-cloud-map-city” construction. Wuzhen’s intelligent transportation system development will also benefit from the Park, accelerating its progress to become the first full-city advanced autonomous driving pilot zone in Zhejiang Province.
