Under the agreement, the three parties will make joint efforts to develop and offer the third-party insights and management services dedicated to the battery swapping scenario for passenger vehicles, including the forecast of battery aging behaviors and battery health degree, the management of battery charging, as well as relevant visualization and management software. Those products and services will be mainly offered to car fleet operators and financial companies.
The newly-formed partnership will help commercial fleet operators raise their returns on investment, provide innovation technologies for the digitalized financial businesses, and contribute to the achievement of carbon neutrality by improving the battery swap efficiency for car fleets, according to Bosch's announcement.
As the technology foundation for the cooperation, Bosch's cloud-based battery system can help significantly enhance battery performance and lifespan by fully utilizing the big data advantage, said Bosch.
Besides, the cooperative project will also rely on Blue Park Smart Energy's battery swapping platform and Mitsubishi's ability to commercialize battery services.
