Beijing (Gasgoo)- Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFMC) and China Electronics Corporation (CEC) recently inked a framework agreement to carry out strategic cooperation in the automotive chip, network security, digitalization, and automotive electronics fields.

The two parties will work to accelerate the project implementation of chip products and core supporting software in the automotive chip segment. Leveraging their existing joint laboratory platform, the partners will continue to further the teamwork on chip reliability and failure analysis, carrying out R&D of key chips based on each’s product planning.

CEC will give full play to its advantages to provide automotive chip supply chain services for DFMC. In the network security and digitalization fields, the two parties will jointly build demonstration projects of China-made hardware and software products, providing technical support services such as network security supervision, equipment security diagnosis, and evaluation for DFMC, and jointly build a talent reserve for network security. 

Based on the requirements of the digital transformation for state-owned enterprises, the two companies will cooperate in the fields of business center, data center, and cloud platform. In addition, the two sides will also jointly build automotive systems and application solutions based on autonomous and controllable software and hardware systems regarding automotive electronics.
