On the other hand, Huawei released the latest operating system, the HarmonyOS 3.0 on July 27th. The latest version has optimized applications, functions, smooth performance, and privacy support. The system also powers Huawei’s HarmonyOS smart cockpit, which enables typical mobile applications to run seamlessly onboard. The update is expected to kick off in September.
Based on the HarmonyOS, users are able to seamlessly transfer the navigation progress on their phones to the vehicle by simply getting onboard. Huawei PetalMaps is ergonomically designed to provide users with a diversified intelligent interaction experience of cockpit interconnection. Its multi-screen interaction supports the display of navigation information on the central control screen, dashboard, or HUD. Users can also search for destinations, select locations, and routes, and add routes via the onboard intelligent speech service.
