Beijing (Gasgoo)- AEROFUGIA, the low-altitude transport solution developer backed by Geely Technology, saw its AE200 X01 flying vehicle complete a test flight on January 30.

In August 2022, AEROFUGIA introduced its self-developed flying car project and full-size technical validation demonstrator to the public for the first time, and the AE200 has been under development at full speed ever since in product development and airworthiness validation.

In November 2022, AEROFUGIA’s AE200 received China’s first aircraft model qualification acceptance notice for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. In December 2022, the AE200 sailed through all flight tests of the key system test platform and saw the AE200 X01's assembly roll off the production line. On January 17, 2023, the first flight test of the AE200 X01 was successfully completed.

The AE200 is a five-seater eVTOL vehicle (flying car) independently developed by AEROFUGIA. It is designed to serve urban and intercity travel scenarios, and features high performance, safety, and comfort to meet the diversified mobility needs between city clusters. 

Headquartered in Chengdu city, AEROFUGIA operates several branches in Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenzhen, as well as overseas countries.
