Compared to conventional navigation systems on smartphones, Ford's C-V2X cooperative system utilizes existing commercial 4G/5G cellular networks for communication. Through the integration of "vehicle-road-cloud" bidirectional data connectivity and seamless integration with the vehicle, it presents information such as traffic light status and road infrastructure visually and audibly on the dashboard and heads-up display (HUD) in a clear and intuitive manner.

In map navigation mode, it synchronizes the signal status of upcoming intersections. Vehicle owners can personalize the sensitivity, sound alerts, and other interactive settings based on their driving preferences, resulting in an exceptional user experience.

In the coming months, Ford will also conduct tests of direct communication mode-based C-V2X functions, aiming to further enhance driving safety, reduce accident rates, and achieve higher traffic efficiency. In the near future, Ford's C-V2X system is expected to evolve from its current focus on traffic safety and efficiency improvements to gradually supporting collaborative applications for autonomous driving.

As an integral part of intelligent transportation, Ford's C-V2X services have been successfully implemented in six cities in China, including Wuxi, Changsha, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Wuhan, and Nanjing.

Currently, Ford's C-V2X system has been installed in over 330,000 production vehicles, including the new generation Mondeo, all-new F-150 Raptor, EVOS, Mustang Mach-E, Edge-Plus, and all-new Explorer models. Furthermore, the cumulative number of users accessing Ford's C-V2X system in China has exceeded 36,000, with over 12,000 actual service users.
