The CKD plant, Egypt's first to adopt a mixed production line for sedans and SUVs, integrates cutting-edge technologies such as laser welding and KUKA industrial robots, elevating precision and quality in manufacturing. Built on Geely's highly flexible and scalable BMA architecture, the factory has achieved dual-platform mixed production, enhancing both production processes and efficiency. Aligned with Geely's global standards, the facility will eventually reach an annual capacity of nearly 30,000 units, with plans to localize more models.
Geely has already established 45 sales and service outlets across Egypt to deepen connections with local customers.
This initiative reflects Geely's "systematic globalization" strategy. In 2024, Geely's exports exceeded 400,000 vehicles, marking a 53% year-on-year surge.
Currently, the automaker operates in over 80 countries and regions, with nearly 900 sales and service outlets worldwide. By the end of 2025, Geely plans to add over 300 outlets, surpassing 1,100 globally to strengthen its international network and after-sales capabilities.
