Geely, Renault sign strategic partnership to expand NEV production, sales in Brazil

On November 3, 2025, Geely Holding Group and Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (collectively referred to as "Geely") officially signed a final strategic cooperation agreement with Renault Group to strengthen their partnership in Brazil. Under the new deal, both parties will jointly produce and sell new energy vehicles (NEVs) through Renault do Brasil, Renault's local subsidiary.

Under the agreement, Geely will acquire a 26.4% stake in Renault do Brasil, while Renault Group will remain the majority shareholder and continue to consolidate the unit's financial results. The partnership allows Geely to leverage Renault's manufacturing facilities and extensive dealer network in Brazil, providing a strong foothold for its expansion in Latin America.

Leapmotor's monthly deliveries surpass 70,000 units for first time

Leapmotor achieved a new monthly sales record in October, delivering 70,289 vehicles  a year-on-year surge of more than 84%. It was the first time the Chinese EV maker surpassed the 70,000-unit mark, continuing a strong upward trend that began in March this year.

Looking ahead, Leapmotor will open pre-orders for the Lafa5 in November as part of its new product strategy aimed at personalization and style. The company also confirmed that the first model in its A series —the A10— will make its official debut at the Auto Guangzhou 2025, signaling the brand's continued expansion across multiple market segments.

XPENG hits record monthly deliveries in October as global expansion accelerates

XPENG reported record monthly deliveries in October 2025, handing over 42,013 vehicles  a 76% year-on-year surge and a 1% increase from the previous month. This marks the second consecutive month the automaker has exceeded 40,000 units of monthly deliveries, setting a new all-time high.

From January through October, XPENG delivered a total of 355,209 vehicles, a sharp 190% spike from a year earlier, reflecting the company's accelerating momentum in China's fast-evolving new energy vehicle (NEV) market.
