The past five years saw an average annual growth of 19.66 million and the year of 2019 witnessed its population of over 200 million for the first time. The new energy car parc reached 3.81 million by 2019 with an increase of over 1 million for two consecutive years, contributing 1.46% of the total car volume. Of that, 3.10 million all-electric cars hit on the road, accounting for 81.19% of the total new energy car population.
