August, 2009 sales ranking of compact SUVs

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Honda CR-V amounted to 9,247 units, up 30.94% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking of compact SUVs, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Toyota RAV4 amounted to 8,977 units, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 35,886 units. August sales of the Haval CUV reached 4,934 units, increasing 16.56% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 36,900 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
