August, 2009 sales ranking of compact SUVs from China's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of the Haval CUV amounted to 4,934 units, up 16.56% year on year, the first on August, 2009 sales ranking of compact SUVs from China's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of the Santa Fe amounted to 4,321 units, up 355.80% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 26,485 units. August sales of the Leopaard reached 2,098 units, increasing 28.24% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 14,566 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
